PEORIA -- A Bloomington woman and her boyfriend were indicted by a federal grand jury Wednesday on charges of conspiracy to receive child pornography.

Jennifer Donahue, 21, of the 3200 block of Spahn Lane, and Adam L. Brewer, 22, of Beardstown, are accused of conspiring between December 2010 and April 2011 to receive child pornography via the Internet. The indictment also charges Brewer with production of child pornography by allegedly enticing a minor to engage in sexually explicit conduct for the purpose of visual depiction of the conduct.

Brewer allegedly installed a file-sharing program on Donahue's computer and instructed her on how to search for child pornography and the two downloaded the illegal images, according to the indictment.

Brew and Donahue were arrested May 6 and ordered detained at a May 9 hearing in U.S. District Court in Peoria.

If convicted, Brewer faces up to 30 years in prison on the production of child pornography charges and both face up to 20 years on the conspiracy charges.
