The suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash and property and left on foot.

It was not immediately known if the robbery had any connection to a string of earlier, unsolved armed robberies in the Twin Cities. But police said officers are investigating that possibility.

Police previously said one individual may be responsible for at least seven of nine previous armed robberies at local businesses since Dec. 8. Because of that connection, the police have given the suspect a nickname in hopes of drawing more attention to the cases.
