Bloomington police looking for man suspected of sexually abusing child

BLOOMINGTON — Bloomington police are asking for the public’s help in finding a suspect in a criminal sexual abuse incident.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic man in his late 20s or early 30s. He has facial hair on his chin and was last seen wearing a red lanyard around his neck, possibly with a key attached.

According to police, the suspect was in the area of Front and Center streets and Front and Madison streets in downtown Bloomington from 11:40 a.m. to 12:35 p.m. June 25.

About 12:15 p.m., the suspect allegedly committed criminal sexual abuse against a victim under the age of 17.
