Police: Man robbed at gunpoint in east Bloomington

BLOOMINGTON — Police are investigating an armed robbery reported Monday night in east Bloomington.

About 10:45 p.m., police were called to the 1700 block of Clearwater Avenue where a man said two men had robbed him on the sidewalk.

At least one of the two robbers, described as black men in their 20s wearing dark clothing, was armed with a gun, Bloomington police said.

The suspects took undisclosed property. No injuries were reported.

No arrests have been made; no further information was available Tuesday.
