BLOOMINGTON — The two people who were arrested after an armed robbery in north Normal on Tuesday night were formally charged in court Thursday afternoon.

Terrance Walls, 29, of Carlock is charged with theft. He is accused of taking Apple cellphones valued between $500 and $10,000. He is also charged with obstructing justice for allegedly destroying evidence by damaging a tracking device with fire.

He was jailed in lieu of posting $5,035.

Aminah Lewis, 27, of Bloomington faces the same charges with the same circumstances, according to court documents.

She was jailed in lieu of posting $5,035.

Normal police arrested the pair in Bloomington after an investigation at The Digital Store, 1715 Bradford Lane. Officers and detectives developed probable cause to serve a search warrant in Bloomington.
