BLOOMINGTON — Bond was set Thursday for a Chicago man accused of choking his girlfriend at a Bloomington apartment.

Richard Erving, 36, was charged with two counts of aggravated domestic battery and one count of obstructing a peace officer.

Richard Erving, 36, of Chicago, is charged with two counts of aggravated domestic battery and one count of obstructing a peace officer.

He remained jailed in lieu of posting $4,035 and he was ordered to have no contact with the victim and two residential addresses.
