BLOOMINGTON — Two people are in custody after a woman was stabbed early Saturday morning in south Bloomington, police said.
Miriah Davidson, 40, is charged with aggravated battery/use of a deadly weapon. She and Tommie Lee Slayton, 34, are accused of attacking the woman; Slayton is charged with two counts of misdemeanor battery.
Court documents say the victim was cut three times by a knife and required surgery. She also had a cut on her forehead after she was hit by Slayton, documents said.
The arrests were made after police were called to the 1900 block of Tracy Drive about 3:50 a.m. for a report of a fight inside an apartment complex.
Davidson was jailed in lieu of $535 and Slayton was jailed in lieu of $335. Both were ordered to avoid contact with the victim.
