BLOOMINGTON — A Florida man is accused of sexually assaulting a minor during multiple incidents dating back to 2008.
Lamont Barclay, 43, of St. Petersburg is charged with predatory criminal sex assault and sexual exploitation of a minor.
The suspect lived in Bloomington at the time of the alleged assaults and was acquainted with the alleged victim, according to authorities. Charges indicate Barclay sexually assaulted the girl between 2008 and 2010 and between 2010 and 2013. The alleged victim recently disclosed the accusations to Bloomington police investigators, according to Assistant State's Attorney Erika Reynolds.
Barclay was jailed in lieu of posting $100,035.
