It was the second sexual assault reported on campus this week. About 11:30 p.m. Tuesday, a female student reported a male student assaulted her in Wilkins Hall after he persuaded her to meet in person for the first time.

The two incidents are not believed to be related.

The school encourages students to contact the Division of Student Affairs Title IX to request services such as protective measures if they experience an incident of sexual assault or misconduct, domestic violence or stalking.

To report a rape or sexual assault, students can file a public incident report at security.illinoisstate.edu or titleix.illinoisstate.edu.
