NORMAL — An Illinois State University student reported a criminal sexual assault in a dorm late Tuesday night, campus police said.

A woman told ISU police that a male student sexually assaulted her about 11:30 p.m. after persuading her to come to his room in Wilkins Hall.

The two students had only communicated online before Tuesday night, when she agreed to meet with him in person.
