BLOOMINGTON — An 18-year-old Bloomington man remains in McLean County jail on charges of an armed robbery that occurred last month in Bloomington.

Police said Da Jon S. Glass, 18, and a juvenile were arrested at 10 p.m. Sunday in connection with a 10:30 a.m. July 22 armed robbery in the 600 block of South Lee Street. Police said the two suspects robbed a man at gunpoint and left with an undisclosed amount of cash and property. There were no injuries reported.

Court documents indicate Glass and the juvenile met another man who had promised to buy marijuana. The juvenile gave Glass a weapon prior to the meeting, which Glass displayed after Glass and the juvenile entered the man's vehicle. The two suspects then demanded money from the victim, who left on foot after taking $100.

Glass was charged with armed robbery with a firearm and aggravated robbery with a firearm.

Glass remains in jail in lieu of posting $50,035 bond. The juvenile was also taken into custody.
