BLOOMINGTON — Two vacancies for associate judges in the 11th Judicial Circuit will open in December with the retirements of David W. Butler and Lee Ann Hill.
The retirements were announced Tuesday by Judge Mark A. Fellheimer, chief judge of the circuit that includes McLean, Livingston, Logan, Woodford and Ford counties.
An Oct. 11 deadline has been set for lawyers who plan to apply for the associate judge positions. Applications are available on the Illinois Supreme Court website, www.illinoiscourts.gov.
Butler plans to retire Dec. 5 and Hill on Dec. 19.
The circuit's judges will select the new associates after a round of interviews with finalists for the positions.
