NORMAL — Illinois State University police issued a Campus Crime Advisory early Sunday morning after a student allegedly aimed a firearm at three others.

The advisory indicated that at 2:45 a.m., Normal Police were called to an apartment at 214 W. Willow St., after an intoxicated student aimed a firearm at three other students.

There were no injuries and the firearm did not discharge. The suspect was arrested without incident and the gun was recovered at the apartment, said police.

Formal charges are pending.

Campus Crime Advisories are issued to warn of possible dangerous conditions on or near campus.
