Stabbing — Bloomington police are investigating a stabbing after two men were injured Tuesday night at Miller Park.

Officers were dispatched around 9:30 p.m. for a reported fight at the park, 1020 S. Morris Ave., where they found two victims with injuries that are not considered life-threatening, police said.

One of the men, age 20, had multiple stab wounds to the back and the other suffered minor injuries. Both victims were transported to a local hospital, treated and released.

In the investigation, a search warrant was issued and police found a knife believed to be used in the incident and a stolen firearm.

Four suspects were identified and arrested on preliminary charges of mob action. Of the four, one suspect also faces preliminary charges of aggravated battery and another faces preliminary charges in possession of a stolen firearm.

Weapons — A Bloomington man faces weapon charges.

Ryan E. Higginbottom, 20, of the 400 block of Olive Street is charged with aggravated discharge of a firearm after allegedly shooting at a building in the 900 block of North Lee Street on April 7.

No one was hurt.

He was jailed in lieu of posting $10,035.
