Criminal sexual assault — A Peoria man faces sexual assault and abuse charges in McLean County.
Jeffery Young, 41, is accused of criminal sexual assault and aggravated criminal sexual abuse of a minor girl in August 2017 in Normal. He was jailed in lieu of posting $80,035.
Theft — An employee at Meijer in Normal is accused of stealing at least $20,000 in her role as a customer service assistant at the store.
Joi Jackson, 22, who listed an address of Homewood in court documents, is accused of ringing up refunds and pocketing the money. Jackson, was arrested Monday afternoon and appeared in McLean County court on Tuesday, appearing from the jail via a video link.
Prosecutors say store surveillance captured video of Jackson ringing up full carts of merchandise from April 12 through May 4. Investigators believe she pocketed at least $20,000.

Jackson remains in court in lieu of posting $335. She is due in court June 21.
Burglary — A man who was found passed out in an upstairs bedroom in what was not his home has been charged with residential burglary after police reportedly found jewelry boxes in his pockets.
Phillip Sanchez, 21, of Normal was found Monday in a home in the 1000 block of Norwood Avenue in Normal, according to McLean County prosecutors. The son of the homeowners told police he found Sanchez asleep and called police. The investigation revealed four jewelry boxes, which prosecutors say was taken from the bedroom.
Sanchez was jailed in lieu of posting $1,535. He is due in court June 21.
