Truck hits house — There were no injuries reported Monday afternoon after a Frontier Communications truck crashed into a residence in the 900 block of South Linden Street in Normal.
Police said they were called to the scene about 3 p.m. and found the driver of the truck apparently had lost control of the truck. The truck jumped the curb, hit a parked car in the driveway and then crashed into the front of the home, police said.
One resident was home at the time, but was not injured. The driver also was not injured, police said.
The investigation into the crash is continuing, but no tickets have been issued. The names of the driver and the homeowner have not been released.
Marijuana — A Normal man faces multiple drug charges.
Jonathan M. Lane, 20, of the 100 block of West Willow Street, is charged with unlawful delivery of marijuana with intent to deliver the drug, possession of cocaine, amphetamine and clonazepam. He was released on a $30,000 personal recognizance bond on the charges related to drug transactions in March and April.
Cocaine — A Bloomington man was sentenced to seven years in prison on cocaine charges.
Tommy Lee Jumper, 56, of the 300 block of South Allin Street was convicted of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance near a church.
Residential burglary — Theft and residential burglary charges are pending against a 19-year-old woman from Normal.
Tanicka Chiestder, of the 1500 block of Woods Avenue, is charged with breaking into a residence on March 8. She was jailed in lieu of posting $5,035.
