Weapons — A Normal man face weapons charges.
Orion Hodo, 20, of the 700 block of South Golfcrest Road is charged with one count of possession of a stolen weapon and two counts of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon.
Normal police said they arrested him after recovering a large amount of cannabis and three stolen handguns during a traffic stop about 12:15 a.m. Friday in the 600 block of West Orlando Avenue in Normal.
Hodo was jailed in lieu of posting $30,035.
A 20-year-old Robbins man also was arrested in the stop on preliminary charges of possession of a loaded firearm, possession of a stolen firearm, possession of a firearm with a defaced serial number, possession of a firearm without a FOID card and possession of 30 to 500 grams of cannabis.
The Pantagraph does not name suspects in such cases until they are formally charged.
Aggravated battery — Felony battery charges have been filed against a Bloomington woman.
Daisha Stuart, 29, of the 400 block of Jackson Street was charged with aggravated battery after an incident that reportedly occurred in Bloomington on Thursday. She was jailed in lieu of posting $535.
