PONTIAC — Three people face a variety of drug-related offenses after an investigation led to police searches at two residences in Pontiac.
Pontiac Police Chief Jim Woolford said one search warrant in the 900 block of West Madison Street resulted in the arrest of Thomas Emerson Jr., 56, of Pontiac. He was charged with unlawful delivery of a controlled substance after officers seized 89 Norco pills and a 2004 Dodge Caravan.
He remains in Livingston County jail in lieu of posting $2,000 until a May 7 court date.
A search warrant was also served in the 1000 block of East Water Street.
In that incident, Michael Price, 51, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance and unlawful delivery of a controlled substance. Karley Jo Runyon, 27, also was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of a hypodermic syringe.
Several jeweler bags of suspected heroin, syringes, drug paraphernalia and a 2002 Mercury Villager were seized in that incident.
Runyon posted $1,000 to be released until a May 7 court appearance. Price is due in court April 18 and remains in jail in lieu of posting $2,000.
Woolford said the investigation is still continuing.
