BLOOMINGTON — Two Bloomington men remain in McLean County jail after being accused of using guns during a home invasion in Bloomington last week.
Police say Teon Williams, 19, was arrested on Friday and charged with home invasion with a firearm, armed robbery with a firearm and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. Lorenzo Aken, 20, was formally charged with home invasion with a firearm and armed robbery. Both remain in custody in lieu of posting $20,035.
At 5:09 a.m. Tuesday, police were called to the 1700 block of Salem Road for a home invasion. Officers arrived and a man said two people entered the apartment and one of them pointed a gun at him and struck him with it. The two left on foot after stealing an undisclosed amount of property, police said. The victim had minor injuries.
