MAPP schedules Twin City meeting

BLOOMINGTON — The Minority and Police Partnership will host a community meeting from 6 to 7 p.m. April 7 at Mount Pisgah Baptist Church, 801 W. Market St.

The public is invited to learn about MAPP’s commitment to community improvement.

MAPP originated from a 2001 meeting involving members of the Bloomington-Normal NAACP and law enforcement.

Test scores — Bloomington District 87 math scores in 2008-09 were above state averages; a Pantagraph story Thursday was incorrect.

Break-in — Casey’s General Store in DeLand was burglarized early Sunday. The date was omitted from an item in Friday’s Pantagraph. Police asked that anyone with information to call 217-762-7533.

Voting — State Sen. Dan Rutherford, R-Chenoa, did not vote on the pension reform bill. A chart in Thursday’s Pantagraph was incorrect.
