BLOOMINGTON — Twelve McLean County high school seniors were honored by the Letitia Green Stevenson Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution for selection by their respective schools as annual DAR Good Citizens.

Marissa Horning from Olympia High School was awarded a $1,000 scholarship after a juried essay competition. She is the daughter of Joshua and Lori Horning.

Other honorees were:

Robert Benefiel, Ridgeview High School, the son of Thomas and Jamie Benefiel.

Cole Christianson, Lexington High School, the son of Corey and Nicole Christianson.

Madelyn Crutcher, Calvary Christian Academy, the daughter of Kevin and Kim Crutcher.

Margaret Dew, Tri-Valley High School, the daughter of Paul and Gina Dew.

Zoe Hirschman, Cornerstone Christian Academy, the daughter of Luke Hirschman and Joy Vaughn-Peacock.

Abigail Klein, University High School, the daughter of David and Kathleen Klein.

Abby Lewis, Central Catholic High School, the daughter of Stan and Karen Lewis.

Riley Nichols, Normal Community West High School, the daughter of Lisa and Chris Nichols.

Molly White, LeRoy High School, the daughter of Michael and Kimberly White.

Faith Wieland, Bloomington High School, the daughter of Phil and Alma Wieland.

Emma Williams, Normal Community High School, the daughter of Travis and Paula Williams.
