Answer: Road treatment-wise, this has been a mild winter — at least thus far — and not nearly as bad as some recent winters. As an example, during the winter of 2013-14, city of Bloomington plows were sent out 29 times. The winter of 2008-09 is the highest in recent years, and Bloomington crews were called out more than 30 times.
