Central Illinois housing agencies to receive $21 million to support public housing

Central Illinois agencies are receiving a portion of the $21 million in federal funding for the development, financing and modernization of public housing properties. 

The Bloomington Housing Authority will receive $1,401,725. Funding is allocated through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development's Public Housing Capital fund.

  • $357,486 — Logan County Housing Authority
  • $214,995 — Effingham County Housing Authority
  • $562,985 — Livingston County Housing Authority
