Philanthropy nominations sought
BLOOMINGTON — Illinois Prairie Community Foundation is seeking nominations for its Philanthropist(s) of the Year. The winner will be announced in November.
Nominees must show outstanding civic responsibility, including contributions of financial resources and voluntary commitment of time, willingness to serve in leadership roles, and providing vision and the ability to involve others in philanthropic activity. Nominees must reside in McLean, DeWitt, Livingston or Logan counties.
Nominations should describe in 250 words or less why the nominee deserves this recognition. Current IPCF board members and staff are not eligible.

Quilt raffle winner named
ATLANTA — Atlanta Needlework Guild and Atlanta Quilt Corner has awarded the second of the four quilts in their raffle for the benefit of the Atlanta Park District, Memorial House projects. Roger Dooley of Vista Park won the Memorial Day drawing at the Atlanta Fire Barn.
The remaining quilts are on display at the Dixie Restaurant, McLean, and Atlanta Public Library, where raffle tickets are available for purchase. Drawings will be July 4 and Sept. 14.
LINK offers market coupons
BLOOMINGTON — The Downtown Bloomington Farmers’ Market, through a grant from LINK Up Illinois, is distributing and redeeming LINK Match coupons up to $25 on the purchase of LINK-approved, locally grown fruits and vegetables.
Coupons will be available at the Downtown Bloomington Association information/transaction booth at Main and Jefferson streets. Coupons are limited to $25 per market and must be redeemed by the end of the calendar year.
