BLOOMINGTON -- Three more American Red Cross of the Heartland volunteers have been dispatched to southern states to assist people affected by flooding.

Jack Montgomery of Fairbury is in Baton Rouge, La., to help feed and shelter people displaced by tornados and flooding. Margaret Kreier of Streator was on her way to Baton Rouge on Monday to provide health services. Gary Young of Bloomington will leave today for Little Rock, Ark., to work as a staffing supervisor coordinating volunteers.

Other chapter volunteers on flood and tornado relief duty are Judy Sevel, Amy Rude, Donna Tambling and Parker Lawlis in Memphis, Tenn.; Robert Walker in Clinton, Miss.; and Mike McKnight in Birmingham, Ala.

Chapter volunteers Jim Kaiser, Lorraine Pflaumer and Janice Miller have completed their volunteer duties and are returning to Bloomington.
