PONTIAC - Ann T. Diemer, 57, of Pontiac died at 1:50 a.m. Saturday (Feb. 11, 2006) at BroMenn Regional Medical Center, Normal.
Her funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Pontiac, with Monsignor Thomas Mack officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Duffy Funeral Home, Pontiac, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery, Pontiac. Memorial gifts may be made to the Livingston County Cancer Society or St. Mary's Catholic Church, Pontiac.
She was born Feb. 16, 1948, in Pontiac, a daughter of Harold Stahler and Margaret Fraher. She married Richard E. Diemer on Aug. 2, 1969, in Odell.She is survived by her mother, Odell; her husband, Pontiac; a daughter, Teresa Diemer (fiance Joe Vaughan), Forrest; a brother, Ed (Kris) Stahler, Odell; a sister, Jean (Nelson) Ruther, Chenoa.
She was preceded in death by her father; a sister, Mary Stahler; and one brother in infancy.
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Pontiac. She had worked at Sartoris as a salesclerk; she was a volunteer at Saint James Hospital Auxiliary.
She was educated in Odell at St. Paul schools. She loved giving of her time and herself to others.
