Eureka - Anne Quast, 69, of 572 State Route 117, Eureka, died at 7:15 p.m. Wednesday (Dec. 28, 2005) at Proctor Hospital, Peoria.

She was born Jan. 6, 1936, in Raleigh, N.C., a daughter of Charles and Margaret Hansley Super. She married Darrell Lee Quast on Sept. 12, 1954, in Pasadena, Calif. He died July 20, 1981.

Surviving are four sons, John (Phyllis) Quast, Goodfield; Joe (Sally) Quast, Jim Quast and Jack Quast, all of Eureka; two daughters, Jean (Randy) Miller and Jenae (Andy) Snyder, both of Eureka; one sister, Peg (Joe) Martinez, Azusa, Calif.; two brothers, Charles Super and Steve Super, both of California; and 10 grandchildren.

Anne was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 466 in Eureka, where she served as president for 13 years. She was also a member of the Eureka Home Extension and Circle of Friends. She was a volunteer and was active in the Woodford County Relay for Life.

Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Eureka United Methodist Church, Eureka, where she was a member. The Rev. Ronald Martz will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Argo-Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home, Eureka. Burial will be in Olio Township Cemetery, Eureka. Memorial contributions may be made to her church or the American Legion Auxiliary Post 466 in Eureka.
