CISSNA PARK — Arthur A. Hari, 90, Cissna Park, died at 5 a.m. Friday (Dec. 16, 2005) at Prairieview Lutheran Home, Danforth.
He was born May 20, 1915, in Cissna Park, a son of Samuel and Mary Obenlander Hari. He married Mildred "Lou Ella" Morton on Aug. 1, 1937, in Kentland, Ind. She survives in Cissna Park.
Also surviving are three daughters, Donna (Wendell) Verkler and Diann (Kevin) Boyce, both of Cissna Park and Dana (Ken) Kuntz, Hoopeston; one daughter-in-law, Annette Hari, Milford; one sister, Lucille Koehl, Joliet; and one brother, Ervin Hari, Green Valley, Ariz.; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by both parents; two sons, Dick and Dean Hari; three brothers, Ray, Bob and Bill Hari; and one sister, Esther Hari.
He was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church in Cissna Park.
He was a livestock trucker for many years. He was employed as a Mac Tools distributor/district manager for 15 years. He also worked as a Lee Wayne sales consultant for 15 years.
His funeral will begin at 10 a.m. Monday at the Apostolic Christian Church, Cissna Park, with ministers of the church officiating. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Knapp Funeral Home, Cissna Park, and for one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Apostolic Christian Cemetery, Cissna Park. Memorials may be made to the Cissna Park Fire Department, Prairieview Lutheran Home in Danforth or Iroquois Memorial Hospice.
