EUREKA - Arthur C. Wettstein, 77, of 709 S. Forest Park Drive, Eureka, died Thursday (Dec. 22, 2005) in Sarasota,Fla.
Mr. Wettstein was a member of the Eureka Apostolic Christian Church where his funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday. Church ministers will officiate. Burial will be in Olio Township Cemetery, Eureka. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Goodfield Apostolic Christian Church Fellowship Hall, Goodfield, and from 9 a.m. until time of the service Tuesday at the Eureka Apostolic Church, Eureka. Argo-Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home, Eureka, is handling arrangements.
Art was born Aug. 26, 1928, at rural Eureka, a son of Charles and Martha Schurch Wettstein. He married Donna K. Koehler on Nov. 6, 1954, at Lincoln. She survives.

Other survivors include his children, Dennis (Emily) Wettstein, Carlock; Gary (Elna) Wettstein, Eureka; Melanie (Dave) Huette, Eureka; Jim (Dianne) Wettstein, Eureka; Dan Wettstein, Kansas City, Mo.; Mary (Wayne) Getz, Eureka; and Bill (Heidi) Wettstein, Carlock; three brothers, Harold (Loretta) Wettstein, Eureka; Leslie (Susan) Wettstein, Roanoke; and Willis (Marilyn) Wettstein, Bloomington; two sisters, Lula Zimmerman, Eureka, and Wilma (Les) Pulfer, Pekin; thirty-three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was a 1946 graduate of Eureka High School and a lifelong farmer in the Eureka area. He had been employed by DMI, Premier Fabrication and Precision Planting.
He served with the U.S. Air Force during the Korean conflict.
