BLOOMINGTON — Beatrice M. Bell, 85, Bloomington, died at 5:45 p.m. Monday (June 28, 2010) at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center, Normal.
A private graveside service will be Thursday at Park Hill Cemetery, Bloomington, with the Rev. Rick Kerr officiating. There will be no visitation.
Carmody-Flynn Williamsburg Funeral Home, Bloomington, is in charge of arrangements.

Beatrice was born Oct. 22, 1924, in McLean, the daughter of Emmett and Lydia Smith Evans. She married William Scott. She later married Francis Bell. He preceded her in death.
She is survived by one son, Gary (Linda) Scott, Bloomington; six grandchildren; three sisters, Virginia Warrick, Bloomington; Margaret (Carol) Meyers, Danvers; and Judy (John) Probus, Holder; and two brothers, Sammy Evans, Frederick, and Bobby (Dorene) Evans, Carlock.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two daughters, one brother and three grandchildren.
Beatrice was a factory worker at General Electric Co. in Bloomington and was a building services foreman at Illinois State University for many years, retiring in 1978.
She attended Wesley United Methodist Church, Bloomington, and had been active in the VFW Post 454 Ladies Auxiliary in Bloomington.
