BLOOMINGTON — Mary Margaret Lamb, 78, Bloomington, died at 9 p.m. Saturday (March 20, 2010) at her family residence.
Her graveside service will be at 12:30 p.m. Friday at Park Hill Cemetery, Bloomington. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be made to Humane Society of Central Illinois. Beck Memorial Home, Bloomington, is in charge of arrangements.
She was born Feb. 28, 1932, in Bloomington, daughter of Stanley and Helen Peifer Swick. She married George Lamb on Jan. 25, 1970, in Ottawa. George passed away May 21, 2002.
She is survived by her mother, Helen Swick, Bloomington; children, Gary Sullivan, Springfield; Connie Sullivan-Brown, Colorado Springs, Colo.; Linda Stienbarger, Houston, Texas; stepdaughter, Lori Lamb, Maitland, Fla.; four grandchildren, including her special grandson, Adam Maubach; brother, Stanley Swick Jr., and sister, Betty Gambrel, both of Bloomington; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father and one brother, Richard Swick.
Mary enjoyed gardening. She was family-oriented and she loved her grandchildren.
