CHENOA — Brenda Kay Kuntz, 51, Chenoa, died peacefully at 2:56 p.m. Saturday (Feb. 15, 2014) at her residence in Chenoa surrounded by her family.
Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Apostolic Christian Church, Forrest, with ministers of the church officiating. Burial will be in South Apostolic Christian Cemetery, rural Fairbury.
Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury, and 9 to 9:45 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
The family suggests memorials directed to Fairview Haven Retirement Community, Fairbury.
Brenda was born Nov. 15, 1962, in Pontiac, the daughter of Harold Elman and Beverly Kay Schell Wells. She married Rollyn Clyde Kuntz on Aug. 7, 1983, in Gridley. He survives in Chenoa.
Also surviving are her parents, Harold and Beverly Wells, Gridley; seven children, Jacob (Brooke) Kuntz, Castorland, N.Y.; Mikel (Stephanie) Steffen, Congerville; David (Brittany) Kuntz, Forrest; and Nathan (Brooke) Kuntz, Mark (Emily) Kuntz, Benjamin Kuntz and Kayla Kuntz, all of Chenoa; nine grandchildren; and one brother, Wes (Kristen) Wells, Westfield, Ind.
Brenda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister, who demonstrated unselfish love toward others. She was a homemaker and a member of Apostolic Christian Church, Forrest.
