ARROWSMITH - Carl Rosco Fenstermaker Jr., 84, Quincy, formerly Arrowsmith, died at 1:05 p.m. Thursday (Dec. 22, 2005) at Blessing Hospital, Quincy.
His funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, LeRoy. The Rev. Tim Vollstedt will officiate. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the funeral service. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, LeRoy, will military rites accorded.
He was born on Jan. 12, 1921, in Arrowsmith. He was the son of Carl Rosco and Fae Nellie Rinehart Fenstermaker Sr.
He is survived by one daughter, Carla (Larry) Barrowman, The Villages, Fla.; one granddaughter, Deanna (Al) Veitengruber, Stanford; and four great-grandchildren, Brittney, Katrina, Elise and Tim.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran and served in the European Theater during the war. He was a retired farmer. He was a member of the Gibson City American Legion Post 568.
