BLOOMINGTON - Carl J. Furler, 87, late of Homewood, died Thursday morning (Jan. 26, 2006) at Heritage Manor, Bloomington.
His service will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday at Tews Funeral Home, 18230 S. Dixie Hwy., Homewood. Burial will be in Homewood Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Beauvais, both of Naperville; 22 grandchildren; brother, Ralph Furler, Iowa; and sister-in-law, Arlene Furler, Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Blanche Crow Furler; son, Gregory K. Furler; and brother, Martin Furler.
He was a member of R.R. Donnelly Retiree's Club and Salem Lutheran Church. He was a retired press room foreman for R.R. Donnelly Co. and retired finance manager and assistant body shop manager for Van Drunen Ford Co.
