CROPSEY — Carllene L. Elliott, 89, of Cropsey, died at 4:02 p.m. Monday (Jan. 19, 2015) at her residence.
A private service was held at the Fairbury Mausoleum. The family suggests memorials be given to the Livingston County Humane Society, SELCAS or Dominy Memorial Library. Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury, is in charge of arrangements.
She was born March 9, 1925, in Fairbury, the daughter of Silas and Lucile Young Steidinger. She married Kenneth Elliott on Nov. 21, 1948. He died on May 15, 2010.
Surviving are many special cousins.
She was a Fairbury Township High School graduate and had attended Carleton College, Northfield, Minn. She and her husband, Ken, owned and operated the Country Store Collectibles antique business. In her younger years, she enjoyed golfing with her husband and close friends at Indian Creek Golf Course, Fairbury.
