DWIGHT - Charles G. Wahl, 63, of 130 W. Waupansie St., Dwight, died at 12:09 a.m. Friday (Dec. 16, 2005) at St. Mary's Hospital, Streator.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Hager Memorial Home, Dwight. His funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Dwight,–with Father James Rickey officiating. Burial–will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Dwight.

He was born Jan. 1, 1942, in Morris, a son of Harry F. and Lillian Lemke Wahl. They preceded him in death. He married Gloria–Polmonari on July 7, 1979, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Dwight. She survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Matthew F. (Cathy Barnes) Wahl, Knoxville, Tenn., and Nicholas C. Wahl, Carbondale; one sister, Jane (Jay) Anderson, Normal; three brothers, William (Delores) Wahl, Peoria; Jerry (Sharon) Wahl, Dwight; and James (Pamela) Wahl, Dwight; and several nieces and nephews.

He was a 1959 graduate of Dwight High School. He served in the U.S. Army. He worked as a processor for Caterpillar for 20 years. He was active in Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts and coached Little League baseball.
