FARMER CITY - Charles H. Bosserman Jr., 80, of Farmer City passed away at 1:50 a.m. Sunday (Feb. 12, 2006) at Jackson Heights Nursing Home, Farmer City.
His funeral will be Wednesday at noon at Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, Farmer City, with the Rev. Tim Vollstedt officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Farmer City. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to noon Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mr. Bosserman was born Dec. 29, 1925, in Santa Anna Township, DeWitt County, to Charles H. and Sylvia Van Note Bosserman.
Surviving is one sister, Doris (Ivan) Anderson of LeRoy; a niece, Janet (Bill) Swier of Bloomington; a nephew, Ivan G. Anderson II of LeRoy; and great-nephews, Caleb and Jacob Swier of Bloomington.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and five sisters, Marie Bosserman, Dorothy Bosserman, Ruth Bosserman, Helen Overmyer and Anna Bosserman.
He was an Army veteran and served during the Korean War.
