MORTON — Charmayne Loercher, 70, of 701 S. Columbus Ave., Morton, died at 2:50 p.m. Thursday (May 25, 2006) at her home.
She was born April 13, 1936, in Bloomington, to Don and Telete Bradshaw Upton. She married Gene Loercher on Oct. 10, 1954, in Funks Grove.
Surviving are her husband of Morton; four daughters, Lisa (Bruce) Johansen, Morton; Justine (John) McGary, Sallis, Miss.; Brenda Kinderis, Algonquin; and Anita (Steve) Arianoutsos, Mapleton; and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister.
Charmayne was a member of the Morton Christian Church, where she served as the church organist and was the director of the church and bell choirs.
She enjoyed painting, gardening and traveling.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at her church, with the Rev. Gary Salm officiating. Visitation will be from 9 to 10:45 a.m. Saturday at the church. Burial will be at Hirstein Cemetery, Morton.
