GIBSON CITY — Cindy Whitehouse, 62, of Gibson City, died at 6:10 a.m. Thursday (Jan. 8, 2015) at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington.
Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Lamb Funeral Home in Gibson City with the Rev. Nick Carlson officiating. Burial will take place at Mount Hope Cemetery in Sibley. Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Cindy was born Dec. 10, 1952, in Rantoul, a daughter of George and Zelma Hart Brown.
Surviving are a son, Kyle (Tina) Whitehouse, Gibson City; daughter, Tonda (Stacey) Mueller, Sibley; sisters, Carla (Jim) York, Gibson City; Connie Butler, Bloomington; Carolyn (Tom) Langs, Joliet; grandchildren, Amanda, Candis, Logan, Hope, Joseph, Kayla (Justin), Brittany, Miranda, Carlos, Cynthia, Tyler, Andrea, Michael, Luke, and baby Lane on the way; great-grandchild, Xander; and her beloved dog, Lucy.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Cindy was a dietitian at Heritage Manor for 17 years. She enjoyed bingo, playing cards, going to Las Vegas and her grandchildren. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will greatly be missed by family and friends. She changed the life of everyone she came in contact with.
