McLEAN - Clifford C. Struck, 74, of 6613 N. 390 East Road, McLean, died at 6:12 a.m. Friday (Feb. 10, 2006) at BroMenn Regional Medical Center, Normal.
A prayer service will be at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday with a funeral at 1 p.m. at Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home, Bloomington. Interment will be in East Lawn Cemetery, Bloomington, with military rites accorded by the Carl S. Martin Post 635. Father Ric Schneider and the Rev. Tony Billingsley will officiate. Visitation will be from 4 to 8:30 p.m. Monday at Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home, with a rosary service at 8 p.m. Memorial gifts may be made to Community Cancer Center of Normal, BroMenn Hospice Program or the McLean Rescue Squad.
He was born Jan. 4, 1932, in Danvers, a son of Clinton Struck and Bernadine Koehn. He married Donna Gordon on June 16, 1951, in Delavan. She survives.
He also is survived by two sons, Randy (Teri) Struck, Quincy, and Tim (Patty) Struck, Minier; six grandchildren; and three stepgrandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Atlanta, and owned and operated Struck Trucking Co., McLean, for more than 50 years he retired in 2001.
He was a member of the Bloomington Moose Lodge.
Mr. Struck served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the McLean American Legion.
He enjoyed antique tractor pulls and enjoyed collecting guns and clocks. i
