Connie F. Lomascolo, 72, of El Paso, passed away 5 p.m. Monday (Dec. 4, 2017) at her home surrounded by her family.
Connie was born Aug. 14, 1945, in Washington, Iowa, a daughter of Benjamin Harold and Clara Augusta Baker Goodwin. She married Guy William Lomascolo on March 30, 1990, in Bloomington. He passed away June 21, 2010.
Survivors include one daughter, Lenette (Allen) Trantina, El Paso; one son, Eric (Wendy) Hadden, Heyworth; grandchildren, Keri (Mark) Shepherd, El Paso; Corey Hadden; Annie Hadden; Brandon Hadden; and Sammi Hadden; one great-granddaughter, Madison Shepherd; and one stepdaughter, Lisa Lomascolo, Moline.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Harold Goodwin; and two great-grandsons.
Connie worked at Country Companies Insurance in Bloomington for 37 years. She sold Avon for the last 24 years, receiving many awards.
She was an active member of Hudson Christian Church, where she blessed the congregation with her food, prayers and her crocheted gifts of love. She was also a member of American Legion Auxiliary, Eastern Star and El Paso Women's Club.
Connie loved her children and grandchildren and adored all of them. She will be dearly missed by her family.
Her funeral will be 10 a.m. Friday at Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home, El Paso. Pastors Brandon Current and Jason Collins will officiate. Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, El Paso.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hudson Christian Church or Community Cancer Center, Normal.
