Donald Mulhall, 70, of Normal, passed away 4:36 p.m. Monday (Dec. 11, 2017) at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center, Normal.
A private gathering will be at a later date. Cremation rites have been accorded by Carmody-Flynn Funeral Home, Bloomington. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family for a memorial in Don's memory to be established in the future.
He was born Oct. 12, 1947, in Morris, son of Harold and Agnes Stewart Mulhall. He married Carol D. Jones Hiltabrand on Aug. 16, 1986.
Surviving are his wife, Carol, Normal; two daughters, Barbara (Jeff) Brumleve, Normal, and Jennifer (Shawn) Elliott, Bloomington; and four grandchildren, Jake, Noah and Ava Brumleve and Jayden Elliott.
He was a U.S. Army veteran who served in Vietnam.
Donald enjoyed watching dirt track racing with his friends at the Fairbury American Legion Speedway, and he also enjoyed watching NASCAR. He was a devoted husband and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
