EL PASO - Dorothy B. Foreman, 95, of 555 E. Clay St., El Paso, passed away at 8 p.m. Tuesday (Nov. 7, 2006) at Heritage Manor Nursing Home, El Paso.
Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church, El Paso. Pastor Tim Smith will officiate. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, El Paso. Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until time of service on Saturday at the church. Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home, El Paso, is handling arrangements.
Dorothy was born Oct. 15, 1911, at Kappa, a daughter of Ethelbert and Nellie Harper McClure. She married G. Earl Foreman on June 4, 1932. He died June 20, 1980.
Survivors include her two daughters, Donna (Roger) Crump, Indianapolis, Ind., and Carol Buerkett, Bloomington; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and three stepgreat-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers; one sister; a son-in-law, Daulton; and a grandson.
Mrs. Foreman was a 1929 graduate of El Paso High School. She also attended Brown's Business College. She worked for the El Paso National Bank and became a farmer's wife after marriage.
She was member of First Baptist Church, El Paso, and a 50-year member of El Paso Home Bureau/Extension. She received the Marie Harris Award in 1996 for volunteer service at Heritage Manor Nursing Home.
