BLOOMINGTON - Dorothy F. Ogren, 89, a resident of the Area Nursing Home in Colfax, Wis., formerly of Bloomington and Chicago, died Tuesday (Nov. 15, 2005) at the Area Nursing Home, Colfax, Wis..
She was born Sept. 2, 1916, in Chicago, to Gustav and Freida Carlson Forsander.
She is survived by her daughters, Karen (Steve) Sanger of Wayzata, Minn.; and their children, Mark and Ashley Sanger; Judy Ogren/Francis Rivard of Menomonie, Wis., and their children, Anna Rivard and her fiancé, Ian Biss; Rachel, Nicholas and Alexandra Rivard; sons, Bob (Cindy) of Woodlands, Texas; and their children, Allison and Caley Wieties; Kenneth (Jessica) of Woodlands, Texas; and their children, Cory (Aleks) Bradford; Casey (Charlotte) Bradford; Carl, Naomi, Kayauni, and Jose Ogren; and other loving relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon D. Ogren.
A memorial service for Dorothy will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Lakewood Chapel in Minneapolis, Minn. Memorials are preferred to Area Nursing Home, P.O. Box 515, Colfax, WI 54730. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses, aides and administrative staff of the Area Nursing Home for their warm and gentle care. They were "special angels" to their mother.
