Elizabeth A. “Libby” Burge, 67, of Lexington, died at 11:32 a.m. Tuesday (Dec. 5, 2017) at her home.
Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Calvert-Johnson & Musselman Memorial Home, Lexington, with the family officiating. Burial will follow at Lexington Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the memorial home. Memorials may be made to the Lexington Ambulance Service.
Libby was born Oct. 22, 1950, in Front Royal, Va., the daughter of Jimmy and Janet Sperry Knave. She married Richard D. “Dick” Burge on June 1, 1984, in Lexington. He survives along with four daughters, Tammy (Steve) Fienhold, Chenoa; Kim Hunt, Lexington; Holly (Phil) Stadel, Savanna; and Jamie (Donny) Farrell, Lexington; two brothers, Doug (Joanne) Robinson, Urbana, and Richard Robinson, Virginia; one sister, Brenda Peden, Lexington; 15 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Fred Robinson.
Libby attended Vale Church in Bloomington and had worked at The Eureka Co. in Bloomington, then as a waitress at the Filling Station in Lexington, and then operated a housekeeping service. She loved to cook, take care of others, garden and dance and enjoyed country music. Her special friends were her neighbors, Al and Marsha. Libby was a loving wife, mom, sister and grandma who enjoyed spending time with her family.
