LEROY - Enid Lee Holderly, 71, of Houston, Texas, formerly of Arrowsmith and LeRoy, passed away at 8:40 p.m. Thursday (Dec. 15, 2005) at her residence.
Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, 101 W. Center St., LeRoy, with the Rev. Tim Vollstedt officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, LeRoy. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
Enid was born June 1, 1934, at Arrowsmith, a daughter of Thomas Lee and Faye Scott Holderly.
She is survived by one aunt, Dorothy Holderly, LeRoy; and four cousins, Kenneth Holderly, rural Farmer City; Helen Loehr, Sacramento, Calif.; Virginia Oleson, rural LeRoy; and Margie Roberts, Farmer City.
She graduated from LeRoy High School in 1952 and attended business school in Champaign. Enid started working in 1957 for Hughes Tool in Houston, Texas, and quit working in 1987. She worked as a paralegal in Houston, Texas, until retiring in 2000. Enid was a member of the United Methodist Church in Houston, Texas.
She loved to paint pictures, do craft work and spent a lot of time traveling with friends.
