MORTON — Fanny I. Hupprich, 87, of 1112 Court St., Pekin, formerly of 428 N. Indiana Ave., Morton, died at 7:15 p.m. Tuesday (Nov. 14, 2006) at Mardell Manor in Pekin.
She was born Aug. 4, 1919, in Minonk, to John Jr. and Pearl S. Newlun Oltman. She married Lester J. Hupprich on July 20, 1940, in Palmyra, Mo. He preceded her in death on July 14, 2004. She also was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and two sisters.
Surviving are two daughters, Dian J. (Michael) Poole of Pekin and Lindsay (Douglas) Stetzler of Morton; one son, Lester S. "Steven" (Terry) Hupprich of East Peoria; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one sister, Patricia Dalziel of Largo, Fla.
Fanny worked in Food Services at Bradley University in Peoria, retiring in 1966.
She was an active member of Bethel Lutheran Church in Morton.
She was an avid golfer and played in the Ladies 9-Hole Golf League at Pine Lakes Golf Course.
Cremation will be accorded. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at her church, with the Rev. Jeff Anderson officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Saturday at the church.
Knapp-Johnson Funeral Home in Morton is handling arrangements.
