BLOOMINGTON - Floyd Corbridge, 70, of Springfield, formerly of Bloomington, died at 6:08 p.m. Friday (Feb. 17, 2006) at Memorial Medical Center, Springfield.
Survivors include his wife, Doris Corbridge of Springfield; three sons, Ernest E. Corbridge and Steven B. Corbridge, both of Springfield; and Timothy F. (Marie) Corbridge, Riverton; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; one brother, Lloyd Corbridge, Jacksonville; and several nephews and cousins.
He was a member of Abundant Life Church of the Nazarene. He enjoyed fishing and deer hunting.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday at Staab Funeral Home, Springfield. His funeral will at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Oak Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Jim Austin and the Rev. Charles Frost will officiate.

He was born June 15, 1935, in Jacksonville, a son of Leroy E. and Loretta B. Hart Corbridge. He married Doris L. Rearden on Aug. 29, 1954.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He was a resident of Springfield since 1985. Previously, he had lived in Peoria for 20 years and Bloomington for 12 years.
He was a machine operator for Keystone Steel & Wire in Bartonville for 20 years.
