BLOOMINGTON - Frank "Ryan" Penn, 25, of 319 E. Locust St., Bloomington, died at 10:17 p.m. Friday (June 1, 2007) in Bloomington.
His funeral will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Carmody-Flynn Williamsburg Funeral Home, Bloomington and 10 a.m. at Epiphany Catholic Church, Normal, with the Rev. Monsignor Eric Powell officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Normal. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with a prayer service at 3:45 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bryce Penn Trust Fund, c/o US Bank.
Ryan was born Oct. 5, 1981, in Bloomington, the son of Rick and Vickie Arnold Penn. He married Rachel Littleton June 16, 2006, in Bloomington. She survives.
Other survivors include his son, Bryce Penn, at home; father, Rick (Patti) Penn, Bloomington; mother, Vickie (Kevin) Mulrooney, Bloomington; paternal grandparents, Frank E. and Jean Penn, Normal; three brothers, Tyler, Peyton and Parker Penn, all of Bloomington; one sister, Michelle Renee Penn, Normal; nephew, Blayne Maya; mother-in-law, Nancy Perry, Frankfort; grandmother-in-law, Dorothy Davis, Normal; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Albert and Joan Arnold.
Ryan was a graduate of Normal Community High School and worked as a landscaper at Penn Landscaping for many years. He was a member of Laborers Local 362, Bloomington. Ryan had a passion for dogs and was a sports enthusiast. He especially enjoyed NASCAR and ISU sports. Ryan was a loving father and husband and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
