EUREKA - Iris J. Speck Page, 72, of 206 S. Walnut St., Eureka, died at 5:50 p.m. Saturday (Dec. 3, 2005) at Eureka Community Hospital.
Iris was born Jan. 14, 1933, in Washburn to Dewey and Ida Bachman Stringer. She married Lowell A. Speck on Dec. 14, 1963, in Roanoke. He died on May 28, 1987.
She later married Harry E. Page in June 1991 in Pontiac. He survives.
Others survivors include one son, Jon Speck of Washburn; one daughter, Amber Strope, Wadsworth, Ohio; one stepson, Thomas (Tammy) Page of Roanoke; twin brother, Ivis (Barbara) Stringer of Washburn; two sisters, Lorene Dingledine of Eureka and Jewell (Simon) Springer of Metamora; and one grandson, Devan Speck of Roanoke.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She worked as a certified nurse's aide at Maple Lawn Homes and Roanoke Apostolic Nursing Home.
She was a former member of Grace Presbyterian Church in Peoria.
She was a member of Roanoke Mennonite Church, where her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Doug Hicks will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Argo-Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home, Eureka. Burial will be in Spring Bay Cemetery, Spring Bay.
Iris was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and will be missed by all that loved her.
